The French Fanzine "Picsou Soir" asked me to illustrate a cover!
As I'm a fan of Carl Bark's and Don Rosa's work, I didn't hesitate for a second!
"Picsou Soir" is a Fanzine specialized on the universe of Disney ducks.
In this picture, I tell how Donald Duck, at the end of his rope, starts to make mistakes that will cause the sale of the Magazine to drop! Scrooge McDuck is furious! Popop is terrified!
To reinforce the idea that Scrooge McDuck treats his employees very badly, I added day-count marks like those written by prisoners.
I wanted to make the illustration as respectful of the universe as possible while being funny and expressive!
I really enjoyed making this image.
